Date: Sunday, July 12th, 2026
Time: 12pm to 6pm
Cost: Sliding scale donation $50-$200

In a world currently dense with uncertainty, collective anxiety, and disharmony, many of us are carrying a heavy energetic burden. This immersive, six-hour day of ceremony is purposely structured to help you reside in these uncomfortable times and contribute to transforming them. By weaving together ancient ceremonies from the Peruvian shamanic tradition, we will actively work to transmute personal and collective fear into grounded courage. This is a dedicated space to release the negativity weighing on your spirit and step fully into your personal power.

This is primarily a day of experiential ceremony with only enough teaching to provide understanding for the participation in these ceremonies.

Throughout our time together, our focus will be on building a strong inner foundation. You will participate in experiential energetic practices designed to forge a strong, stable core and awaken a deep, courageous resilience within your heart. By learning to anchor yourself amidst external chaos, you will begin to truly understand and embrace the profound power of your unique personal path and how it impacts the co-creation of this world. This day is not just about personal healing; it is a remembering to recognize the tangible, sacred impact your energy has on the collective world around you.

To facilitate this deep alchemical shift, we will work directly with the foundational medicine tools of the Andes. Our work includes creating a community Despacho offering to restore universal balance, utilizing the protective power of Chumpi Stones to weave the Bands of Power across your energetic body, and activating the Pachacuti Mesa as a cosmic catalyst to co-create a more harmonious reality.

Please join me prepared to step out of ordinary time, honor your spirit, and claim your role as a conscious co-creator of a brighter future.

A Very Important Note: Although we may be seeing much of the disharmony in our world reflected in current political situations I insist that we do not bring political conversation into the sacred space of this day. Such conversations contribute to the division and fragmentation of our communities and we are gathering to heal that division not perpetuate it by carrying it into our space.

What Ceremonies are Being Offered?

  • The Despacho Ceremony is a central ritual of the Andean Q'ero tradition. It is a beautifully intricate, layered mandala created from natural elements—such as seeds, flowers, sweets, leaves, and shells—arranged intentionally on a paper base. Each ingredient acts as a living prayer, representing different aspects of the cosmos, the earth, and human experience. The ceremony is built on the Andean concept of ayni (sacred reciprocity). In times of darkness or chaos, the ayni between humanity and the Earth has become fractured. By creating a despacho, we weave our intentions for peace, courage, and healing into a physical offering. Once fully assembled, the despacho is wrapped and traditionally burned or buried, releasing our collective prayers into the spirit world to restore cosmic balance and harmony.
  • Chumpi Stones are sacred hand-carved medicine stones made from alabaster or meteorite. "Chumpi" translates to "belt" or "band," and these stones are usually shaped into distinct shapes with points (typically ranging from 1 to 12 points). In Peruvian shamanism, these stones are used as energetic embodiments of the sacred mountains. They hold specific medicines to open, clear, and anchor the human energy field. Rather than floating aimlessly in collective anxiety, working with the chumpis helps draw down dense energy (hucha) into the earth and fill the luminous body with refined, vibrant energy (sami).
  • The Bands of Power are five luminous belts of energy woven into the human energetic field (poq'po) for protection, stability, and strength. In modern life, we often absorb the negativity and fear of others because our energetic boundaries are compromised. Using the Chumpi stones, a shamanic practitioner weaves these five protective bands around the participant's body. Once activated, these bands act as a spiritual filter. Instead of absorbing negative energies from the environment, the bands automatically break down and compost that heaviness into usable power, allowing you to walk through difficult times with personal power and protection.
  • The Pachacuti Mesa A Mesa is a Peruvian shamanic altar and medicine bundle, but in the specific tradition of the "Pachacuti Mesa" (originating from coastal and highland Peru), it is viewed as something far more dynamic than a collection of sacred objects. It is a living, cross-cultural map of the cosmos. The word Pachacuti refers to a profound cosmic turning point or "the turning over of the world"—a time when cataclysmic shift gives birth to a new era of harmony. A Pachacuti Mesa is meticulously arranged on a hand-woven cloth (mastana) to anchor the creative forces of reality. By interacting with the power objects on the Mesa, the practitioner can shift energetic currents in the unseen world. During our ceremony, the Mesa serves as our central control panel—a sacred vehicle through which we anchor our collective intentions to dream a more harmonious, courage-filled world into being.

Cost: By Donation. Suggested donations are $50-$200 but should be within a participant's means and based on what feels generous.
