planting the seeds of prosperity
With Adam Kane
Date: Saturday, 3/23/24 Time: 12pm to 6pm What is prosperity? Many people are trained in our culture to believe that it is elusive, hard to attain, tied to hardship, and focused of wealth or money. But prosperity is the ability to live a good life and to be cared for in this world- to have our needs met in healthy and nourishing ways. In this day-long workshop we will engage with teachings to clear the old beliefs of scarcity and unworthiness and to gain clarity on what we truly need. |
We will then explore shamanic ceremonies to feed the spirit nations so they are able to manifest the blessings of prosperity in our world and live and also to ask the spirit nations to provide for our genuine needs in a way that leads to prosperous living.
What Ceremonies are Being Offered:
Teachings- Understanding the concept of prosperity from the mindset of indigenous cultures. By discerning what we truly need to live a good and harmonious life we can better align with the universe to co-create a fulfilling life. We will also explore the concepts of unworthiness, lack, attachment, and scarcity to untangle ourselves from cultural programming that perpetuates these harmful beliefs.
Despacho Ceremony- A Peruvian offering ceremony that is done to give to the spirit nations the gifts of sweetness, beauty, and "medicine" that we are able to cultivate in our physical world. This is done to express gratitude, to restore balance, and to care for the spirit nations just as they care for this world and all who reside within it. This cycle is know as "Ayni" which is a sacred reciprocity and by balancing Ayni our needs in the physical world are more easily met.
Pachakuti Mesa Ceremony- The Pachakuti Mesa tradition is a Peruvian tradition of working with a ceremonial altar as a microcosm which is a mirror to the macrocosm of the universe. when change is created upon the alter it effects change in the outside world and within ourselves. In this ceremony we will be working with the Pachakuti Mesa to connect with the raw creative energies of the primordial earth and primordial waters so that we are capable of dreaming a prosperous life into being.
Sacred Pipe Ceremony- This ceremony is from the North American traditions. The Sacred Pipe is a holy item that is filled with tobacco and prayer during ceremony. It awakens a promise that was made long ago between the human nations and spirit nations that when prayers are spoken across the pipe that they will be heard and received by the spirit nations. When the pipe is smoked these prayers are carried upon the smoke to the Great Creator/Great Mystery so that our needs can be met.
